In September I read three more books directly related to photography, that I find worth mentioning to you. I think you can learn from each. If you get them and read them, please let me know what you thought. Here they are.
– Image Makers, Image Takers, by Anne-Celine Jaeger
This great book collects a series of interviews with several personalities in the world of photography. The first part of the book is dedicated to many contemporary photographers, who share their career, vision, and methods. The second part of the book interviews professionals in other related activities, like editors, retouchers, and publishers. I learned immensely.
– Making Light by Piet Van den Eynde
This ebook delivers an introduction to off-camera flash. The basics are covered, as well as nine practical case studies where the use of flash is illustrated.
– The Inspired Eye III Notes on Creativity for Photographers, Vol.III, by David duChemin
Prolific writer David duChemin delivers yet another inspiring ebook. All about finding your vision and connecting with your creativity to produce better images. It is a short (and cheep – 5$) book that will make you think more carefully about your art.
