A while ago, I decided to invest in my education as a photographer. Many well known professionals state that you can’t train to be an artist: either you have it or you don’t. I only agree in part. I think having a solid grasp of the technical aspects of any art will help you create better art. Even if it means going against all you learned. But you’ll know what you’re doing.
I’ve enrolled in a one-year Photography course. Starting in October, I’ll have classes three times a week, and many projects to do in my own free time. This will be a challenge, and a great opportunity to learn more. I will be sharing my experiences here on LightCooler.
I’ve also started buying and reading books on photography. This way, I hope to expose myself to different ways of thinking and photographing. I’ve shared some of the books in previous posts, and will continue to do so.
So, if you’re curious about what is to come, keep checking out this blog. I will be around 🙂
