Cancer is an awful disease, facing more and more people today. All we can to to help fight it will never be enough. Photographer Filipe Inteiro partnered with some women warriors and came up with a campaign to raise awareness for this fight through photography. This is part of his Master’s project, and a very noble one at that.
I have to admire the courage these women showed, to be able to face a camera at a time most would feel less than beautiful. But they sure are beautiful, and it comes across.
This project has the support of the movement “Cancer with Humor”. Congratulations to Filipe and to each and every one of these brave soldiers. It is proof that photography can play an important social role. I can’t wait to see the final results.
Below you can seen the making-of video for the photoshoot.
